Samsung made future real as never. IP-830w is not just a phone. It's a successful compilation of a mobile phone and PDA with marvelous features and functionality.
This worldphone is a perfect phone for fashion mongers. With its huge screen, strict but stylish design, convenient and fair keypad it is sure to captivate anyone who has an inclination towards fashion.
Samsung IP-830w is much closer to personal computers than to mobile phones due to powerful processor and rich set of programs. Preinstalled programs include Personal Digital Assistant, Notes, Picsel Browser, Alarm, Microsoft Applications (Internet Explorer Mobile, Word Mobile, Excel Mobile), Calculator, Windows Media PlayerŽ, ActiveSync, Application Management, Beaming, Today Screen, Games, Calendar, VoiceSignal and Tasks List.
Internet Explorer Mobile lets you browse the Web online or download pages to read while you're offline. Whichever you choose, it's been optimized for fast or slow connections, meaning you can choose between graphic-heavy pages if you have a fast enough connection, or text-only pages if you're on a slower connection. VoiceSignal is advanced speech recognition software can be used to activate a wide-variety of functions on your device. A program called Transcriber adds another interesting functionality. Instead of entering characters you can enter entire words and sentences using your own handwriting. Transcriber supports both printing and cursive writing styles.
Samsung took care of you data as well. The memory card can be used to back up or save data to avoid accidental loss due to battery discharge or other unforeseen device data complications. The SafeStore option allows you to back up and protect up to 19.36 megabytes of data using the backup utility.
This excellent device is further complemented by advanced connectivity features, such as CDMA, dual-band GSM, GPRS and Bluetooth. The phone can work in a wireless Nationwide Sprint PCS Network, which offers you innovative services like Sprint PCS Picture MailSM, Sprint PCS Video Mail, Sprint TVSM and Sprint PCS Ready LinkSM.
The handset comes with a built-in media player supporting WOW technology and provides superb music quality. WOW significantly enhances the quality of mono and stereo audio, creating improved dynamics and bass performance in your speakers. WOW provides also a panoramic three-dimensional audio image that extends the sound. These enriching effects are especially noticeable on digitally compressed audio formats such as MP3 and WMA.
